The Lord laid it upon my heart to seek out the Widows and Orphans in Ukraine, a place where many are suffering need, and there are few available resources

Suffer the Children
A child is suffering somewhere in the world at
this very moment. Oh... how we allow children to
suffer is beyond me. Perhaps, it is because suffering
has become offensive to some of us.
The needs of the poor are
too great, the child belongs to the parent, the culture,
the nation, the race. But, Jesus said, suffer little
children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for
of such is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 19:14
There are over 100,000 children living in Ukrainian orphanages, for a variety of reasons, the children are suffering the most.
Every time a child cries I am reminded of Gethsemane
when Jesus sighs, and the Father looks at the
travailing Son and is satisfied...
A child is suffering
somewhere in the world at this very moment, but
within their suffering, there is no childish shame;
within their suffering there is no child to blame; no
finger to point at these little ones. When we see a
child who is suffering, if we could only look beyond
the pain...would we see the Glory of God?
We should all recoil and travail, lift a finger to
help, go the distance to save, that even one of these
little ones might receive the gift that God gave.

and so I took that long walk down Widows Lane, to see where widows "peek" from windows while waiting on the Lord to answer...
For this widow who lives in this one tiny room with her son, her joy is to serve our Lord Jesus by cooking for the Church families and the poor
COMPASSION IS LOVE IN ACTION
For this Widow, who recently lost her husband in a car accident, she carries the load of caring for their two biological and two adopted children without his support and presence
We are providing food for the widows and orphans

We are Building a House for a Widow in need... You can read about her and her son above.
*** Brother Steve embarks on his next missions trip to Ukraine in the first week of September 2020. Despite the Global pandemic, nothing could keep him away from "His Kids". We thank you in advance for standing with us financially, as Steve travels to the orphanage to care for the orphans as well... In addition to the basic needs of the children, Steve will be purchasing a new standard oven to replace the old microwave that is currently being used...
